Weeks Of Weightloss Challenge

FOR PERSONAL REASONS

Create your own list of personal reasons for why you want to change. You can make this list over the next couple of days. Keep a piece of paper and a pen/pencil handy. Write down every reason you can think of that explains why you want to lose weight, get healthier and/or get your diabetes management plan in better shape.

Initially, you may only be able to think of one or two reasons why you want to lose weight and or make other changes in your life. In real life there may be many reasons why you want to lose weight which might include:

Feeling better

Doing it for health reasons if you have a chronic illness like diabetes.

Feeling better in public

Being able to walk without becoming tired

Being able to do more with your family

Being able to get up in the morning and feel rested

To be able to wear different clothes

To feel a sense of accomplishment

To feel less tired

To be in control.

Losing weight isn't something you have to have special reasons to do, but it helps to know exactly why you want to do it. It's easier for you to get yourself on the right track if you're sure about why you're making the changes in your life.
